Currently the Lake City Library remains closed to the public. We are offering curbside and home delivery service of materials.?
As a preventative measure to stop the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the library will remained closed to the public until further notice. All library programs and meeting room gatherings are canceled until further notice. We will continue Story Time online and we are in the process of planning Summer Reading.
The Lake City Public Library is continuing to evaluate the proper time and procedure for gradually re-opening the library. The health and safety of our patrons, staff and community is our first consideration. Currently, starting Tuesday, June 9 we will start distributing books, audiobooks, and dvds by setting the books outside for pick up or by making home deliveries. This may change if? we start seeing an increase in cases in our county or surrounding counties. We will keep you posted here and on our Facebook page.?
Library staff will still be working at the library. We will still provide fax, copy and print services. Don’t forget the library also offers e-books, downloadable audiobooks and magazines and a large variety of databases accessible here on our webpage. Contact us for assistance.
